Hey guys. For those who don’t know yet, we are in San Francisco for WWDC this week. So if you like to meet, we are happy to. We have meetings scheduled with a number of amazing photographers and videographers and I’ll try to keep you updated on how it’s going.

Meanwhile a little big announcement for all the Mac users - we currently offer ColorStrokes for free on www.macphun.com/colorstrokes. You simply visit the page and make an order.

There couple of reasons for such promotion. First - ColorStrokes celebrated 500K downloads recently and remains the most popular color splash app on Mac App Store. Second - we have the new version coming. Third, and probably the most important - we love you. No kidding, you’re awesome.

Was playing with this photo in Snapheal today and got some truly amazing results. Frankly, I didn’t expect Snapheal to do SUCH a great job right from the start. But the results are really impressive! What do you think?

can you tell me if photo studio has HDR effects? having trouble finding any. just started using the app. thx

Hey there, Fx Photo Studio doesn’t have HDR effects. And we never planned to add those. HDR is best when created using natural workflow, here at MacPhun we think that fake HDR effects spoil photography:)

You can do that in FX Photo Studio for iPhone. Pick Text Labels option.

Just purchased FX Studio PRO. What is the process for adding one effect on to another? Do I simply chose an effect, save it, then add another on top it it? Thanks. Great app, by the way.

Something like that. We’ll make a separate post about that shortly, so you’ll have a tutorial. Plus there is a built-in help inside the app.

PRO version has additional editing tools, supports higher image resolution and handles RAW files.

That’s simple. You pick first effect then apply it. After this you can apply new effect and so on and so forth.

Does FX Photo Studio allow one to edit the size of the image? Specifically, reduce the size to post to various forums?

You can save the images in different sizes, formats and quality. FX Photo Studio HD for iPad will let you resize the image as well.

How do I get photos from iPhoto other than dragging them in? The iPhoto library folder is greyed out when I try to use it. Gotta be a way. Thanks

You can import images from iPhoto to FX Photo Studio and then export them back to your library. The process is pretty straightforward. Drop us a line at support@macphun.com and we’ll help ya.

Does FX Photo Studio HD for iPad save at full resolution? I saw a review on the App Store that says that it does not save at full resolution.

It save in the maximum resolution supported by the device you have, so it depends on the iPad generation.

I'm looking for an app that can apply a "roll film border" effect (.e.g. Fujichrome, or Kodachrome, etc.) for a project I've got to do. Does this package have such a border type? I've looked all over the Web for examples of this software's border, and there are none to be found. Thanks.
