Hard to believe that FX Photo Studio had been free for almost 2 weeks now. Good news is we are moving to the 10 millions mark faster than we expected. Both iPad and iPhone versions now share 2 691 071 new downloads. Sad news (for those who miss this post today) is that FX Photo Studio HD will be switched back to paid app in less than 24 hours. The reason is simple – it takes efforts to keep both iPad and iPhone version among TOP free apps and we’ve been working 24/7 lately to negotiate with media people, advertising agencies, social networks and other developers, looking for ways to spread the word about our apps (it takes way more efforts to promote a free app than paid one – who’d think about this earlier :)
So, we are keeping FX Photo Studio HD free till Tuesday (April, 30) and keep FX Photo Studio for iPhone free till it reaches 10 million new downloads. Hurry up – not much time left.
Cheers,
Alex
P. S. We’ve released a new version of Cartoonatic today. And it’s also free (well, it’s always been, but still a stellar app).

iPhoneography tip of the day
#6 Stay still!
If you want the image of a really good quality, then keep the iPhone tight. Well, unless you want to show us the world moving around you. If not, maybe it’s better to stop your car or slow your pace and concentrate on snapping a great photo? A fancy street photo is usually a non-blur photo unless it’s really needed to emphasize the idea. If you check out Instagram feeds, you’ll see that sometimes many originally intended to be awesome shots get constantly ruined. Moreover, anytime you can add blurry effects if you suddenly consider them needed - with the help of the large amount of blurry effects in FX Photo Studio app.
